Wenzhou Youan Trading Co., Ltd. operates this business-to-business website under the EYECAN EYEWEAR name. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse the website, contact us, or submit a business inquiry. It applies to this website and the information we receive through it.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, company name, business email address, telephone number, country or region, product requirements, and any other information you choose to include in your message. The website and its service providers may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, discuss quotations and potential orders, provide requested services, maintain our business correspondence, operate and secure the website, understand how it is used, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where permitted and appropriate, we may use your business contact details to follow up about relevant eyewear products or services. You may ask us to stop marketing communications at any time.
Our grounds for processing
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to respond to your request or take steps toward a business agreement, to meet legal obligations, based on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting a B2B website and managing business relationships, or based on your consent where required. You can withdraw consent where processing depends on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Shopify, cookies, and service providers
Our website is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and other service providers involved in hosting, security, communications, analytics, or business operations may process information for us or under their own policies, as applicable. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure performance, and support features we enable. You can manage cookies through your browser and any privacy controls presented on this website. Blocking some cookies may affect website functions.
When information is shared
We may share information with Shopify, service providers who help us run the website or respond to inquiries, and business partners involved in a request or order when reasonably necessary. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not publish your inquiry details on this website. Links to third-party sites lead to services with their own privacy practices.
International handling and retention
Because we serve international business customers and use online service providers, information may be accessed or processed in countries other than your own. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including business follow-up, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate. Retention depends on the type of information and the applicable requirements.
Security and your choices
We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can contact us to exercise these rights or ask about our practices.
Children
This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website or practices change. The revised version will be posted here with a new date. For privacy questions or requests, contact Wenzhou Youan Trading Co., Ltd. at marketing@yoanglasses.com.
